Book Talk : Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell

Image
Hey !
I must talk about this book because I have read it about three times and it still affects me in the same way. I originally found this book after I read Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell. I typed in "Rainbow Rowell quotes" on Tumblr and VOILA I found a quote to Eleanor and Park.
The quote was
“Eleanor was right. She never looked nice. She looked like art, and art wasn't supposed to look nice; it was supposed to make you feel something.”That one quote sucked me in so I began my book hunt for this piece of literature. Let me tell you one thing, finding this book wasn't easy. We only have one good book store in Malta and they didn't have it; I asked for it 32143 times. One day it showed up as In Stock on their website so I ran to the store (not really, I caught the bus) but I still couldn't find it. I asked the guy at the register if they had it in that store and he pointed to the Child's Titles section.
This book is a Young Adult novel written by Rainbow Rowel…

Lush Review : Mother's Day Exclusives

Image
Hey !
Two weeks ago it was Mother's Day in the United Kingdom and Lush had Mother's Day Lush exclusives...SO I ORDERED SOME since I have a Lush problem.  I wanted to try 3 products but there weren't 3 different bath bombs so I decided to try something different like I did for the Valentine's Day post. I tried a Bubble Bar, Shower Cream and bath bomb (just like in my post.)

Ladybug bubble bar Oh, I love it. I love it. I LOVE IT. First, I want to apologise to this lovely bubble bar for cutting up its head for use. Secondly, I want to talk about HOW AMAZING IT WAS TO USE. Upon having a whiff I concluded that it smells like a flower but my knowledge of flowers sucks so I had to google the scent on the Lush website; it smells like geranium. If you use the head of this little wonder and start crumbling it from the inner side then you will get beautiful pinky-red water and plenty of bubbles. I must warn you that it is a tad difficult to crumble under the running water; I ended…

Help for Beginner Writers.

Hey !
I won't be the first one to say that Literature is a beautiful thing. Many choose to lose themselves in between the pages of a book; however, many also lose themselves on a blank page which they fill with words that flow from the depths of their imagination.
As a person who loves to write and create stories,I want to help other beginning writers by showing you some websites that have helped me in the writing process.
Websites that might give you a helping hand.
Nanowrimo.org   National Novel Writing Month. This website aims to help you write a 50,000 word novel in one month. Nanowrimo is originally meant to help you write your novel within the month of November but that doesn't mean that you should just use it in November. You can earn badges which might help motivate you to write more.

Lush Review :Valentine's Day Products.

Image
Hey !
So, I know that Valentine's day was nearly a month ago BUT I couldn't do this review because I didn't get my products until after Valentine's day. Today it's not just going to be a review about bath bombs but 3 different products : Unicorn Horn Bubble Bar, Prince Charming Shower Cream and Lover Lamp Bath Bomb.
Unicorn Horn Bubble Bar
This is the FIRST Bubble bar that I tried out and I LOVE IT. So, I only used a bit and that bit wasn't enough for the amount of water that was in the  bath. I recommend using a whole bar if you intend to fill the bath up and stay in it for hours. The bar was easy to break off and it was easy to crumble under the running water. Although it has multiple colours, it turns the water into a beautiful shade of pink. This bubble bar creates a relaxing feeling and according to my research it has Lavender (makes sense, right?) I'm not even sure what this bubble bar smells like since I can't even describe it's scent.
